I'm pretty sure everyone knows it by now, but in case you didn't, Trent Edwards was released by the Bills today (yesterday?). I was just wondering if people think we should try him out. I think he would be a step up from Tjoke, easily. Can you really blame him for not being successful when his number one weapon is Lee Evans and he is being protected by the Bills o-line? I'm not saying he is the answer, but besides Favre, he's better than anything we have now.

If he's still available after the season is over, he might make a decent backup to McNabb. I would not take him as starter, however.
