    Travis Taylor

I think the pickup of Travis Taylor was amazing. He is fast, physical and has a good vertical. Beleive it or not, I think he will be the number 1 receiver with Burleson at 2 Williamson at 3 Robinson at 4 and Campbell at 5. WE MUST KEEP ALL THESE RECEIVERS TOGETHER. They all have great but different talents, and should stay together for a long time. Travis is gonna have a break out year, 1,200 yards, 80 catches and 8 touchdowns. He was a former 1st rounder and has the best qb in the nfc and cant be a bust anymore. He was still always pretty good on the Ravens. Its just that they never really threw last year.

He should be decent with a great QB to get him the ball rather than that stiff called Kyle Boller.

And besides he was once one of my beloved Florida Gators.

willie, I agree with you. thats why i was luke-warm at the williamson pick. I believe we already have a burner in taylor and that pick could have been better used somewhere else. taylor will be a great player for us

rev: Taylor is fast but he is by no means a burner in this league he is like a Jake Reed with a little better speed.

Man oh man, I didn't know they let Gator fans in here. Oh well! I guess I'll just have to deal. I was ecstatic with the pick of Williamson, I was also very happy with the Taylor pick-up. However, you must be smokin' some really good ganja if you think Taylor will be #1, only if Burleson gets hurt.

    Re: Travis Taylor

What are you talking about? Kyle Boller was a great quarter back! Not to mention all the other fine players he worked with - Chris Redman, Trent Dilfer.

    Okay, okay, just joking.

Seriously though, I also like the Taylor pick. It's a really low risk-high reward pickup. If he's a bust, then he leaves at the end of the year, and we lose what, $1 million (I can't believe I just said that $1 million isn't a lot, but...)

If he does step it up though, which I think he will, all indications from mini-camps have been good, then we can maybe keep him around for a few more years.

But for this year, it's Nate the Great's chance. I think he will explode this year. He had 1000 yds last year as a 2nd year player. I expect 1000 yds and 10 tds from Burleson, then maybe 700-800 and 5-8 tds for taylor. Behind them the other guys can spread it out.

Except for Campbell, CUT HIS @SS!

    Thanks PPE for the sig.

I am loving the pick up as well. I remember watching a Ravens game with my friend (who is a ravens fan) when Vikings had a bye week, this guy has amazing talent. It just didn't show because Boller was throwing him the ball. Now when he is catching balls from C-pep, he will show that first round talent. Man, the anticipation for this season is burning inside me, i can't wait to see TT in purple.
