    Training camp scuffles

Didn't take long for the Vikes and Chiefs to start the pushing and shoving contests to start.
From what I've read the first one was when a 3rd string KC lineman tried to take on Lesnar - apparently afterwards Moss was seen on the sideline weeping uncontrolably with laughter.
Next episode was on Special teams practice when one of the Vikes took on two KC blockers - this resulted in most of the Vikes 'popping over' to offer assistance.
Lastly was our old friend CB Rushen Jones (resident KC annoyer )who got in a pushing contest with a KC WR.
All in all a productive morning and proof that this team doesn't intend to take %$£& from anyone this year.
Long may it continue :thumbright: :thumbright:

    Training camp scuffles

Glad to see they have some fire! Just as long as they don't get anyone hurt. Wouldn't not want to be the idiot that tried to cheap-shot Lesnar.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

    Training camp scuffles

Keeping with the tradition of last year we've torn up another KC reciever.

Not that I wanna see anyone get hurt but this is what we need to see from our D, good hard physical play.

    GO VIKES D!

MANKATO, Minn. -- Kansas City Chiefs tight end Billy Baber injured his left knee during a joint practice Friday afternoon with the Minnesota Vikings.

Baber was sandwiched by Vikings safeties Corey Chavous and Brian Russell after catching a pass from Trent Green. Baber came down awkwardly on the knee after Russell drove his shoulder into him. He attempted to get up, but screamed in pain as he went back down.

Coach Dick Vermeil said preliminary examinations indicate a sprained meniscus.

    "That's unfortunate," Vermeil said.

This is the second consecutive year a Kansas City player has suffered a serious injury while scrimmaging against the Vikings. Last year, receiver Dameane Douglas injured his left knee after a hard tackle by Vikings cornerback Rushen Jones.

Baber, a special teams regular who's entering his fourth NFL season, caught one pass last season for 20 yards. He has played in 29 games in three seasons with Kansas City. Baber was a fifth-round draft pick in 2001 after playing at Virginia.
