Re: Training Camp Position Battles (Offense)
I think that the Adrian Peterson - Maurice Hicks battle for starting running back will be the biggest one of training camp...LOL
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Re: Training Camp Position Battles (Offense)
Some good stuff Capital.
Thanks for the reads.
This will be a fun one to watch as well. One thing worthy of interest is how much time Adrian Peterson will see as a 3rd down back. If there was a weakness in his game last year, it was blitz pick up. Will Chester Taylor get most of the third down snaps this year or will Peterson add another dimension to his game and improve in this area?
My guess is that you will see AD used more on 3rd downs (especially early in the season) but my guess is we will see CT in there a bit as well as the season wears on and our RB's aquire the normal kind of Dings.....
Part of me wants Ferg to make the team (he started to grow on me last year even if he is a Ex-PUKER), but I sure would like to see JJ make the squad instead of him.but there's always the possibility of a younger WR making a big impression in the pre-season. If that's the case, I'd have to think Ferguson is the odd man out.
My rationale for Ferg is that I really think that TJ started to develop a good relationship with him last year, he is a damn good blocker down field and he brings another set of sure hands to the mix and we all know that there is nothing more important than timing and sure hands when in comes to the WCO and the precision necessary to run it.
Heres hoping JJ shows some of that in camp so Ferg can go.
That will just leave Longwell and Sharp.
;D
I agree. In my opinion it'd be a waste of a roster spot to keep both Tahi and Dugan.
My guess on this one is Tahi goes and Dugan stays and only because of the CAP hit we would take by letting Dugan go.
Please say it isn't so...... ;DVeteran Artis Hicks will likely make the team again.
Have we heard anything with respect to Robison adding weight?Looking over their shoulder: Ray Edwards, Ellis Wyms, Otis Grigsby, Vinny Ciurciu, Benny Sapp
I haven't seen anything but we did see something that said Ray was.
Throw that in with the fact that Ray played LDE in college and I think we are set at on that side with Ray, Jayme as the primary two on that side and Rob as the primary backup for JA.
I loved how Otis stepped in and contributed right away last year.
Hope he makes the team.
;D
Again, very interesting reads my friend.
I liked your layout, especially where/when each player was drafted if applicable to the conversation. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
