Trading Bennet would be a stuoid move. Smith hasn't proven himself yet, and Bennet is one of the top backs in the league. Also, giving away all those draft picks and Bennet in able to draft Fitzgerald would be a waste. We don't need a WR that bad, and the positions we do need, LB and DE, can be drafted with out #19 pick.

Why do people on here always want to trade somebody! We need to accumulate talent not dispose of it! How silly would it be to trade the fastest running back in the league, not to mention a home run threat everytime he gets the ball...additionally i think he does average like 4.5 yards a carry over his career (or atleast the last two seasons) gimme me a break!
DIDNT HE GO TO THE PRO BOWL before he got hurt......Some of yall sound like Mike shannahan-what a crok

Why the hell would we want to move all the way up to #2 overall? the biggest team need is defensive end. After that depth is needed at areas like the offensive line, linebacker, and special teams players, so you don't want to throw away a bunch of draft picks.

The two best defensive ends in the draft will be available after #2. A more logical move would be to jump to about the #8-#12 range. That way, the Vikes still get Smith or Udeze and will probably only sacrifice only a third round pick.

Why don't we trade Smith and our second and 4th draft choices to the Steelers, for their first. Pick up Udeze or Smith, and still be in a good spot to draft Williams at 19?

There is no pressing reason to trade Bennett or Smith. As a matter
of fact, we have a great thing goin by having both of them.
Keep them together another year. I believe one of them will request a move at some point since they both can be starters in this league.
If one goes down next year with an Injury, we almost don't miss a beat. Imagine if we didn't have Onterio this past season!

Again, let the players force our hand in a trade. Even if it were at the end of the season next year, either players market value will still be very high.
