Tough Schedule
In the beginning of the year, I realized we had a pretty difficult schedule, but I wrote off teams like the Jags, Lions, Bears, Saints, Giants, and maybe even some others as wins. Now all of the teams i listed are either very decent or good teams. That does not even include that we played Philly, Dallas, we play Ten(decent), Indy, the Pack 2 times, the Seahawks and a formidable Redskins team. Wow this is going to be an exciting season! if we can get over the injuries, i say bring it on!

We play the Jags and Hawks at home so i think we can easily beat them. But we play the colts at there place. That might suck but at least its at home.

Good news gang
we have 7 more road games and 4 of them are indoors.
When we lose on the road it is usually outdoors.
The stat they said on MNF in wk 2 was like 18-20 out door road losses. It was a high percentage
In 2002 we lost all 6 out door games on the road and won 2 road games indoors.
In 2003 we lost 4 of 5 outdoor road games and won 2 of 3 indoor road games.
In 2004 we have lost 1 of one outdoor road games.
Tell me what does it mean? I think we need to concentrate on the 3 outdoor road games

Tough Schedule
In 2003 the only outdoor rd gm we won was against
The Packers
Yeah!!!! Atleast we got that one.
No matter what, in or out doors, we need to win atleast a total of 4 rd gms this year. We also need to hold serve at home. That is a 12-4 record.
Truth is, we don't have any more slouches or tim couches on our home schedule or "schedule" as you brits like to say. :study:

I dont follow that useless stat with the 20 losses in the past so many games on the road stat. It just seems to me that we always get outplayed, out coached and unprepared going into the game. We just cant seem to win on the road, not because of it being outdoors or on grass or turf, etc. Useless stat in my opinion. I think we get two road wins in the next games. For one we get a bye which gives us plenty of time to review our opponent and heal our injuries. Two, texans havent really impressed me much and the saints, well we usually do well against them, dont see why we cant do good against them on prime time.

Numbers don't lie. It is a trend.
75% on the road indoors.
8% on the road outdoors.
Winning percentage for the road the last 2 years.
There might be another variable like coaching. Tice was also the Coach for all these games.
We can turn this around, Coach needs to coach better or find new coaches. Losing on the road like this becomes habitual that is the coach that has to phych the team into winningand bring the plays and schemes for the players to execute. That will help break the habit. Players play, coaches coach, if that was totally true we have great players we should win more often. Teams win. Coach help form the players into a team.
