Tough road game await us after the bye

Be interesting to see how the Vikes do against an all 3/4 defense. They haven't faced one yet this year, and the Texans have a really solid LB core.

Decent. They actually have given up alot on the ground. I think it's been like 120 yds a game average. But only like 180 a game in the air. 4th in the league in Defensive take aways too. not a D to win championships, but fast and physical and a different scheme than what the Vikings are used too.

    Good news gang

we have 7 more road games and 4 of them are indoors.

When we lose on the road it is usually outdoors.

The stat they said on MNF in wk 2 was like 18-20 out door road losses. It was a high percentage

In 2002 we lost all 6 out door games on the road and won 2 road games indoors.

In 2003 we lost 4 of 5 outdoor road games and won 2 of 3 indoor road games.

In 2004 we have lost 1 of one outdoor road games.

Tell me what does it mean? I think we need to concentrate on the 3 outdoor road games

Numbers don't lie. It is a trend.
    75% on the road indoors.
    8% on the road outdoors.
Winning percentage for the road the last 2 years.

I pulled this from a different thread.

Not that your opinion of the Texans LB corps is slightly influenced by the presence of one Jay Foreman in that group...Naah, I didn't think so. All kidding aside, I actually agree with your statement. However, I think that if the Viking offense is running on all cylinders, that the Texans defense can't stop them. Enjoy the game, Jackyl!

Not too worried about there d, as we can crush just about any d with our offense.

Im more worried about what there offense can do since our d loses the games for us on the road. They can never come up with much stops or turnovers.

Carr to johnson could be scary against us as we make any qb look like peyton manning and davis could light us up if we cant stop the run much like how thomas got a lot of yards on us. I know he didnt do so well last week but that could change when hes play our d.

 I forgot that they have a Pro Bowl DB and one of their D Line was a Pro Bowler last season as well. The 3/4 D may help the weakend Vikes O Line if the Texans don't blitz alot. The Vikes O does look really good. It'll be interesting to see if that changes with Bennett back and O gone starting next week.
