i remember feeling so disappointed a few days before the game because i could have went, but something else came up. i wanted to be there so badly. i knew we were going to super bowl xxxiii. i knew it. i guess it's better that i didn't go. better being around half a dozen pissed off people than 63,000.

I think the only thing that will ease the pain of that defeat is the Vikings winning the SB in the future.

I wonder if this is a blessing to lose that game because I don't think we could have beat Denver and if we did lose to the Broncos, we would be the first team to lose 5 Superbowls and we would never hear the end of it

From what i heard, i dont think the vikings would have beat the broncos in the superbowl because of many injuries during the atlanta game. we lost a few starters on defense to injuries including john randle and griffith i believe. and i think robert smith also hurt himself as well.

so ya could be blessing in disguise to lose the game, cuz i dont think the defense that year would have stopped the broncos even without the injuries.

The 1975 Minnesota Vikings!!

They were better than any of our four teams that represented us and on paper better top to bottom than any other team that year besides Pittsburgh (I think we were pretty even with them).

I think if it weren't for the Hail Mary pass (the Drew Pearson offensive pass interference play) we may have had a super bowl victory in the 1976 Super Bowl!
That ref should have been tared and feathered!!!
He even called defensive pass interference if you can believe it.
