Somehow, Todd Lowber made them all believe....
Sounds like he has his head on straight.Quote:

I expect nothing but practice squad for him this year, and that's cool.
Since he doesn't have years of being pounded while playing football in Jr. High, HS, College, etc., his body is fresh and younger (football-wise) than his years.
$350,000 isn't a lot to pay to see what he's got.
=Z=
That's a great story, I hope he does well.
I hope we don't trade him for Greg Lewis.
Between Williamson, Rice, Wade, Allison, Carter, and Lowber?
Nah, McMullen is on the team whether I like it or not. We aren't going to carry 4 rookie WR, but man that would be crazy. Is keeping 7 WR unheard of?
He definately has the athletic ability.
Plus he was smart enough to pick a team that is desperate for wide receivers.
Giving him a better chance to at least catch on with the pratice squad.

No, I think the norm is 5-6.Quote:

The Cardinals had 8? I think in '05.

I think if you're a team running a lot of 4 WR sets, then keeping 7 isn't totally out of the question.Quote:

Particularly if one of them is a valuable return man, as well (ie. Dante Hall).

I love this quote from the article:
I sure would have liked to have seen that workout. It must have been spectacular.Quote:
"The only thing I can tell you is the workout lasted just five minutes," Ulrich said. That's all Minnesota needed to see. Lowber became a Viking.

Well then I say keep him at the expense of a third TE.Quote:

That might be Jimmy K...?
Dugan?
And that's assuming the rookies, Spach and Jones don't make it/end up on practice squad...and, Jason Carter doesn't make it...I thought he looked great in preseason last year, seemed to have a connection with TJack (against 2nd and 3rd strings, I know)...never really got a shot in a full speed game.
Still, I hope Lowber sticks, he sounds like the right character/work ethic, AND an athlete worth training.
Damn, I'm already dreading cuts, glad I don't have to make all the final decisions!!
Some of our WRs are KRs...?
