    Time to let Moss go

This thread is crap and it will probably go on for 5 pages worth. And the only thing I would trade for a stuffed potato is this thread.

We had this thread last week and the last week and the last week.

Moss is the reason some fans are Viking Fans. I didn't say most but some. He has helped convert the young and the not so old.

    Time to let Moss go

Not many teams will give that much up for him, everyone still remembers the Hershel Walker trade that was going to put the Vikes to the next level.

Vikes needed to rebuild and Dallas well, eh, you know

    Time to let Moss go

There is nothing here we haven't heard before guys. Two years into his career people were saying Moss looks like he doesn't care about the game or the team. Now his age is being thrown in and somehow Moss is now "on the decline"

Because of the controversy surrounding Moss the last three weeks, we should expect to hear a lot of people, both fans and non-fans, saying that we should trade him.

No way in hell we trade our #1 weapon. How often does a player come around of this calibur? Not very.

I knew that after this loss that the "trade Randy" thread would rear its ugly head!

What in the hades am I reading here?!?!?! Have you all gone stark raving MAD?!?!?!?

Randy doesn't like football? Randy doesn't like Viking Football? Is there something in the water in Connecticut that you should perhaps filter out?!?!? Are you living next to a nuclear power plant or toxic waste dump?!?!?

Randy Moss is - simply out - the BEST receiver in the NFL. PERIOD. And you want to hand that weapon off to another team?!?!? San Fran was smart enough to wait until Rice was in decline before moving him out.

RANDY gave our Offense instant credibility after our 5-11 collapse. RANDY makes our other receivers BETTER because HE draws the doubles. And if you think we're "just fine without him", I invite you to look again at our record while he was injured. Oh yeah, we tore up the friggin' league, didn't we?!?!?

The guy had an off game. It happens. And you people want to turn on him?!?!? I'm ashamed of the lot of you.

Think about it this way Caine.

We trade Randy for a top notch DB, a good pass rushin DE and a top 5 draft pick and then draft a guy like Mike Williams at WR...

are you telling me that you would rather have Randy with all his BS than Mike Williams and Nate Burleson as our tandem and the addition of a top DB???
    Yup, I sure would.

Moss makes everyone on that Offense better - even Culpepper. If you doubt me, compare the stats for games Randy is IN and games he's out. Trading Moss makes our Offense WORSE - no matter what you bring in to replace him - and the improvements to our "D" we can make WITHOUT trading Moss because:

    1: We're $30,000,000.00 UNDER the salary cap.
2: There will be quality Free Agents avaialable again this season.

And, finally, show me a team with a top 5 draft pick and I guarantee they DON'T have a "top notch DB, a good pass rushin DE".

    Time to let Moss go

some of you people kill me.

You'll find 110 reasons why Randy Moss couldn't possibly be a problem to this team and you'll put up with season after season of no playoffs or one round and out...

he could be jesus christ himself in a purple jersey, but if he's got character guys like Birk on television ADMITTING that he is a distraction to the team, and every other analyst and fan can see that he is a distraction, and that he takes plays off, then what good is he.

He didn't do a damn thing today just like he has done many times before. Yeh, he's a difference maker when he wants to be. problem is, he only wants to be every 4th or 5th game...

defend him all you want. You're on crack if you think he is good for this team.

And for the record, the reason why we suck without Moss in the line-up is because apparently everybody on the team is smoking the same crack half of you are and confidence goes out the damn window without him.... like a bunch of panzys "oh my Randy is out... how can we possibly go on..." "He's our lord and savior..."

Give me a break. Randy moss is a great reciever. A great reciever with a big friggen mouth and a bad attitude. he pisses people off, he distracts the team and he disrespects his teamates....

I think the people that want to keep randy on the team are the same guys that come home to find their wife in bed with another guy and find it in their hearts to forgive her. chumps....

Actually we got to two NFC Championship games with Randy Moss. How many did we go to in the 6 years before he was drafted?

    I thought he was!?!

I think the people that want to hang all the blame on him, and ditch him, are the same guys that spend their time beating their meat to porn because they lack the skills to have a relationship. pathetic.....
