Re: Is it time for the "Joe Webb" era to begin?

From the very small sample size of yesterday, Tjack should start. Realistically that pick is on percy, but it'll show up on favres' stats. Favre played well, much better then last week.

I don't think Joe Webb is the answers to our problems. I do think firing childress is a start. Get a top notch HC in here, draft well and see what we can do in free agency.

Watching Mike Vike play tonight makes me wonder why Joe Webb can't be like him. Webb is just as faat and can run the same way. If he can learn how to throw he will be great.

ah, the one facet of the game which has hindered many wannabe QB's.

You have no idea if Webb is as fast as Vick.

According to his scouting profile, Webb ran a 4.44 40 yard dash, I think Vick is faster than that.

Then again, pro days don't mean much when it comes to NFL production.

He doesn't even need to be as fast a Vick, he just needs to be able to run by defenders like we witnessed in pre season.

to be fair, we witnessed Webb run by 3rd stringers. Vick runs by starters.

I can't take you seriously as long as you have the Ottawa Senators in your .sig file.

Yes, Joe Webb did adequately against the 3rd-stringers and current bagboys who he played against during the pre-season.

Tad different when lined up against the starters.

We had that already but I suppose that you won't let something like facts get in your way.
Lets not get on the "He didn't perorm to greatness after 19 starts, ergo he's never going to do it" kick, because historical facts of several great/good QB's will prove you wrong.
