    Re: Coaching

Sure you can bench him. It's pretty obvious he doesn't have it right now. If he can't do the job, we need some one who can. I realize that not all of the incomplete passes are his fault, but if you watched the game again today, you saw him make some really horrible passes. Then the ball just falls from his hand. I think I saw that more than once last year!!! What about the coaching???!!!

He's had one too many chances to prove himself. I've stood behind this guy through the ups and downs but enough is enough.

    Fire him now.

when i was 10, i played alot of tecmo super bowl and i realized that i couldn't run the same plays everytime. maybe Tice stole the 8 plays and is using them now. the runs all look the same. what happened to the play action. i just don't see how a fan watching at home can call the plays before they happen.

We need Linehan and Birk back.
    Uhh, LMAO!!

Don't get me wrong, Linehan is good, but to say he's not replaceable is hillarious. And Birk, we did GREAT without him last year.

The biggest problem is Daunte (*gulp*that hurts) and no Moss (*cry*that hurts even worse).

Brian Billick had the Number 1 offense of all time in '98, now he has NO offense. (sarcasm ON) Mmm, why could that be? (sarcasm OFF)

Re: "Official Mike Tice and Co Thread"

I'm all for getting Tice and Co. out of here ASAP...but what do we do after that? I mean is there a guy (coach) available right now that is going to do a good job in turning this club around and getting them to play to there potential? Or do we fire Tice and just pick up someone to finish out the season then go after a coaching staff in the off season...as bad as Tice is looking that doesnt really make any sense right now. So does anyone know of a coach that we could bring in right now and get this team turned around?

fire tice and just give up on the season, thats the worst thing we could do, what if we come back and go 9-7 which i can see happening, then all the tice haters will be eating their words, wait it out and then see if tice has to go, is tice on the line and letting everyone through.....no, is tice not running out of the pocket and throwing the ball away....no, lay off the guy wait the season out and then see what we should do

We fire Tice, we throw in the towel.

Too early. We have 2 weeks to figure something out. Just wait my friends!

After the last few mid season meltdowns and the way we are starting this season off, it shows a definate lack of leadership. the head coach is ultimately the leader and motivator of his players. The head coach needs to be smart enough to bench the players who aren't performing and give some others a chance.

the bad thing is that they can't and won't fire tice before the season ends. if they do they have no one competent enough to takover as HC. Bring back Bud Grant!!!!!
