Re: Tie Breaker
All i know is its going to be REALLY hard for green bay to get into the playoffs because they lost to both the saints and the panther (and we beat both)

Re: Tie Breaker
The first tie-breaker is Division record ... we will both be 4-2 (splits with GB and each other, sweeps of Detroit) assuming the Bears top the Pack in their next meeting. The next tie-breaker is NOT NOT NOT conference record it goes to COMMON games next ... which be the contests between Colts, Titans, Jaguars, Texans, Panthers, Bucs, Falcons, Saints.
Right now against those teams we are 4-3 with the Falcons left ... the Bears are 1-4 with Jaguars, Saints and Texans left.
Basically, if we beat the Falcons we CANNOT lose the tie-breaker to the Bears. If the Bears lose next week to the Jags, they CANNOT win the tie-breaker with us.
IF they win against all three of those teams ... and we lose to the Falcons the NEXT tie-breaker would be conference record where we are currently 5-3 with Lions, Cardinals, Falcons and Giants left and they are 5-5 with the Saints and Packers left.
So, basically ... if we win 2 of our final four contests, the Bears CANNOT win tie-breakers with us so they would have to win out. If we go 2-2 and finish 9-7, they have to go 4-0 to get to 10-6.

Re: Tie Breaker
By the way ... remember when the Pack was 2-0 and we were 0-2 and everyone had anointed them division champs again ... yeah ... fuck all those fucks.

Likely, the Bears, Vikes, and GB will all end up 4-2.
Part of me hopes GB beats the Bears which would give GB a tie breaker over the Vikes by Division record, but as they are 2 games back, I'm fine with that to knock the Bears 2 games back as well! The true measure of a man is what he'd do knowing he'd never be found out.

I'm not. It would mean they are one game closer to us ( if they would win and we lose one ) and they would have the tie-breaker over us.. If we win and they win i don't mind but let the bears hunt for a playoff spot, they have almost 0% chance to have the tie-breaker over us."midgensa" wrote:
