Ticket Scalping in Chicago
I apologize if this is not the place for this topic, but I wasn't sure where else to post it.
I'm going to be in Chicago on Dec. 3rd when the Vikes take on the Bears.
I was wondering if anyone knew what the ticket scalping situation was like in Chicago.
Are tickets pretty easy to come by?
Are they selling them for under face value?
Is it pretty hard to find anyone scalping their tickets?
I would appreciate any help you guys might be able to give me. Thanks.

Try ebay.

Re: Ticket Scalping in Chicago
They might not sell to you. Me and my uncle went to a chi-min game and the guy who was yelling 2-4-50 ended up selling them for 65$ to us. I wouldn't bet on it. If you were to scalp you might have to rock a bears jersey-god help us-to get them
Wait, if there's cat food in this bag............................
I HAVE TO CHECK ON JOLLY!!!!

Re: Ticket Scalping in Chicago
You won't get them for less than $100 a seat.
The Vikings game will be the first logical chance for the bears to clinch the division, and it is at home against a division opponent.
Given the popularity of the Bears right now, the tickets are hard to come buy.
I would be very surprised if there are any available on game day for less than a small fortune.
Again, I recommend ebay.Zeus wrote:

Re: Ticket Scalping in Chicago
Scalping is illegal in Cook County and is strictly enforced.
i went to the vikes/bears game last year at soldier.
tickets were hard to find, and when we finally did find a seller, we had to do the transaction so discreetly, it was like buying coke.
There are plains clothes officers wondering the premises looking for violaters.
Scalpers are reluctant to try as their tickets and money can be confiscated, along with an arrest.
I would take Paul's advice and try ebay....Rodgers had to hold on the ball longer, giving players like Jared "I am completely insane and will literally eat your children" Allen time to sack Rodgers again. And again. And again. Actually I think Rodgers may have nightmares about Jared Allen the rest of the year.

I have been looking at E-Bay, but tickets are so darn expensive, I was hoping to find something cheaper.
I can't find a ticket less than $160 and I'm also afraid of getting ripped off on E-bay, but it looks like that might be the best choice if they are that hard on scaplers in Chicago.
Is there any chance that this game gets moved to the night game with the flex schedule. Thats another concern of mine, since my plane leaves that night at 7pm.
I would hate to buy tickets ahead of time, only to have my plane leave at kickoff.
With the Vikes recent slide I would guess this game isn't going to be one that they move, but I also expect the Vikes to go on a winning streak starting this Sunday.

They must enforce that more strictly for Bears games than for Cubs games. I've never not seen plenty of scalpers across from Wrigley.Scalping is illegal in Cook County and is strictly enforced.

Re: Ticket Scalping in Chicago
My guess is there is a lot more demand for Bears tickets than for Cubs tickets, so scalpers charge more.
If IL's scalping laws are anything like Minnesota, it is not considered scalping unless you charge more than (I believe) twice the face value of the ticket.Zeus wrote:

Try craigslist.com
Its a great online classified site; one of the most popular on the net.
You can always find good deals there.
