Tice says that the "A" gaps (on either side of the center) were not protected, because Birk's ability to single block defenders was missing...not an ability that many centers have...certainly not Withrow. But he still has faith in Marcus's ability to adjust for that from the guard position.

He also said that MeMo will probably be the most likely of the injuries to be fine by Sunday...good news for MeMo fans!

He also says that Rod Davis would probably start if Cowart is out next Sunday...he would rather just plug in Davis than start shuffling EJ to the middle, and moving DT in at WLB, etc.

My approval rating for Tice is about 1% right now. Something should have happened during halftime. He should have ripped the offense apart to fire them up. I can't believe that after such a bad first half the offense came out looking just as bad with a bit better gameplanning.

Tice sucks. He tolerates mistakes and doesn't demand more from the players. There is no excuse for our offense to be that bad. I don't want to hear "I have faith this player will get better." I want to hear, "If this player doesn't improve, his ass is benched." Stop with the positive bull Tice because I can see right through it. Our running game suffered for all 4 preseason games and one regular season game, but you have done absolutely nothing to fix it.
