Thread: Tice is an idiot

Okay, I'm the first to say the Monday night ABC crew is a bunch of jerks, but they called this right. Tice should have told the defense to lay down and let the Colts score so we could have a chance at getting to overtime. Did any of you think our defense was going to stop the Colts score inside two minutes. No way! What were we thinking?

Can't just lay down..no matter what!

That would be a great moral booster for our defense too!!

C'mon man, we can't just let them score and expect our offense to score a TD in less than 2 minutes with only 1 timeout.

Coaches gotta show confidence in the defense, even if they do suck right now.

I did not agree with the defense the Vikings played on that last drive. The linebackers were to deep and the cb were not even close to the line in fact they were so deep they did not show up on my tv.

i think tice coached a great game for once... though the next time i see one of our O line false start i will take a pot shot at him... he used to be a line coach and lewinsky still has at least one false start a game...sometimes three... but maybe that says more about that dumbass lewinsky!

we only had one chance to let them score and we stopped them for about no gain because after the miraculous pitch and then that run, they kneeled it and we couldnt do anything about it, nice job by tice i mean come on we actually came back in a game

To "let" a team score disrespects everyting that football stands for. As a team you must do everything in your power to prevent a team from scoring regardless of the current score or standings. Just as you must do everything in your power to score at every opportunity, regardless of the current score or standings.

i dont underdstand how you "let" someone score. they do a rushing play and ya just stand there and dont do anything, hell, id just walk to the goaline as slow as i could and at 1 second fall in the endzone.

really, how do you let someone score and be sure you have time left, they can just go and sit down and run out the clock like that cant they?

I could not agree more! let them score, try to get to overtime! But, do not fail to call a timeout with 8 seconds remaining in the first half and take a shot at the end zone! But the Genious Tice waits until 2 seconds left to kick a field goal?

Tice is an Idiot! Culpeper throws only 19 times against the worst defense in the NFL? WTF?

Hard to let the team just score when they're taking a knee...
