Kevin Seifert, of the Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Tice claimed this 2005 Vikings team as his favorite. Tice said, "This is my favorite team. For the first time since I've been a head coach, I'm going into December with a pretty mature bunch of guys. ... I finally have some mature adults that understand what it's going to take to accomplish our goals."
