I probably will have more respect for him following a decent showing against Atlanta. They are a good team with a good defense. If they can contain Mike Vick and score some points on this team, I will be a little more impressed. The New Orleans win just does nothing for me.
Does that mean if we win this weekend, you will be on the Wagon?
 :?: :lol:I can bench press my own body weight. And I weight 2,000 pounds.

I will change my tone ONLY after Mike Tice shows that he can beat a team with either an offense, a defense, or a home. Until then, everyone who has a problem with that will just have continue to struggle to deal with it. My Goodness.

I have been wrestling with this topic for 3 years now. I have never seen an extended period of time to make me believe in Tice. He almost had me when we came back the year after tanking to open the season 5-1.
THEN HE LOST ME and I haven't came back yet.
Tice seems to have more cons than pros on his side.
I have said before, the players like this guy.
Still true, but how much will Zig put up with? That is really the question.
If for some reason the week 1 and 2 Vikes showed up in Atlanta.
He could be toast.

I don't think Ziggy will put up with much. He has made it clear he expects to have a winning team. If we tank in Atlanta I think Tice's days are numbered. I saw on another thread that there may be as many as 8 openings for coaches at the end of this year. Thats a lot of competition for the few good people out there. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ziggy try to get a jump on that competition if it becomes clear that Tice just isn't getting it done. I am not sure where he pulls the trigger but I would guess if we have lost 6 games by mid season that we may see Tice gone.Ya know snow(man that rhymed)

Tice will be on very thin ice if we lose. Here is an article on Tice.

Win or else. Those three little words were appendages to the futures of at least three NFL coaches before the season, and three games into 2005, none of the three has done much to quell such ominous tidings.

"Get rid of him now," cry some frustrated fans. "He will be the first to go," predict the oddsmakers. "We've decided to go in a different direction," general managers will say.
Among those who continue to find their seats a tad warm:
• Despite the 1-2 Minnesota Vikings' win last weekend against the New Orleans Saints, Mike Tice has a new owner eager to establish an identity, and the team's effort in the first two games did little to pacify him.
