THumbs up to Tice!!!

I might get a lot of hating for this, but I must say I was really impressed by Tice today.

He started calling the plays, simplified the offense which I think settled down Daunte, he gave Mewelde more then the token three carries he has been getting thus far, and the team really responded. I think the team looked like it should. Also the defense played real well

The team still needs to work on pass protection I think Daunte got sacked 6 or 7 times today.

Hey I dont think you should get any hating for that.. I think he did a wonderful job too.. Other then getting sloppy at the end.. And giving up all those quick slants we did pretty damn good and I was impressed with his play calling..

yeah our o line sucks besides mckinnie thats the only thing thats gonna stop us from our full potential this year.

yah i thought mike called one heck of a game, the only problem that i had is that we kinda quit on the run during the 3rd which gave the saints O more time on the field. other than that we were owning the T.O.P if our players quit running out of bounds. good game mike!

Ive always thought Tice is all right as long as he doesnt back away ... he seems to let coordinators do whatever they want to often, when he steps up, he does a good job.

Yes, I agree... Tice did well. Think there is more chemistry with Tice talking directly to Culpepper.

Happy to see he got the challenge in with the non-catch by the TE --- even though they tried hurrying to snap the ball.

Let's hope the media get's off Tice's & Culppeper's backs now & start directing their attention to the 0-3 teams & their coaches. Mike simply let Loney run the offense for the 1st two weeks to see how it would work & when he saw it wasn't, took charge. Loney might have or might not have been calling some of the plays & giving them to Mike, but Tice on the headset to Dante was a smart move.
