Thin, thin, thin
Why are we so thin....anytime one guy goes out, its rookie-ville. I want someone's head on a platter!

Agreed, it is very frustrating. Hopefully Jasper can hold the fort until next year when hopefully EJ will be back. If Jasper can't i would have to think that we will spend a 2nd or 3rd round pick on LB.

Yeah and I get the feeling having only 7 active offensive lineman thing might bite us in the ass eventually.

Re:Thin, thin, thin
I actually don't feel like we really are all that thin.
ALL teams are thin at a few positions, nature of the beast. But we have quite a bit of depth at a lot of positions ... including LB for that matter.
I think losing our MLB hurts a lot more than if Leber or Greenway went down, but I think between Brinkley, Erin, Farwell and Kenny O. we should be fine.
This is a chance for the rook to really make his money!

Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

Of any position we got hit where it hurts most, MLB. Last year remember when it was Farwell and Circiu coming in for EJ it was a little rough.
From what alot of the players are saying, they like Brinkley and think he has the talent to do the job. Nothing you can really do about the EJ injury. Lets continue to hope that the FO found a gem in Jasper Brinkley.
I am optimistic that Brinkley will do the job. It is paramount that we bring a ton of heat every down now as other teams could really expose us without great play at MLB.

As for great play at MLB ... we have not had that since that beginning of last season anyways. Henderson has not had a stellar year. Though his loss is still a very tough one.
If Brinkley can provide ANYTHING in coverage, then he will be better than what Henderson was giving us there. Lets just hope he is up to snuff.
