I always wonder if other teams are saying such things about their 7th round picks.

It wasn't too long ago that number 7th pick was about only half way through the draft.

My opinion is that with the advent of FA and movement of players after thier first contract, the number 7 pick is almost as important as the number one pick.

    So with that said, Yes.
    ;D

I can't name specific QB's right now, but some greats have come out of later rounds of the draft.

    Wasn't Tom Brady a 7th Round Pick?

Last time I heard it was 6th but he was drafted straight out of highschool and was bagging groceries before.

I am not saying it doesn't happen but the optimism for even the latest round picks and the undrafted rookies has already blown up my optimizer.

*Not that there is anything wrong with that.
I was just curious if this is a rare occurrence for the Viking community and football fans in general.
