MANKATO -- Dontarrious Thomas got to work Sunday. The Vikings' second-round draft pick ended his unusual holdout, agreeing to the terms of a contract that had been on the table since Friday.
Thomas and his agents relinquished their demand for some $400,000 in guaranteed incentives, and Thomas arrived Sunday afternoon in Mankato. He took a physical, signed a four-year contract that included a signing bonus of about $1.4 million and attended several team meetings.
"When it was all said and done, I just really wanted to be part of the Minnesota Vikings," Thomas said. "It's time to move on and play football."
