Theismanns comments
Tonight while watching the game Joe Theismann made a comment about the possibility of the league looking at either the Vikings or the Chargers moving to LA.
Does anyone know anything about these rumors.
I ahve heard alot of rumblings about San Diego moving to LA, but this is the first I have heard about the Vikings.
Anyone know?

The Vikings moving to LA has been a strong rumor for years only made stronger by the constant lack of anything moving forward on a new stadium from the Minnesota legislature. I am not from Minnesota, but still feel like it would suck to see my team transplanted to LA. I agree, there is no way that the LA Vikings even sounds right for that matter."purplengoldblur" wrote:

I really hope that the Vikings stay where they are.
I would be absolutely stunned if the league or the ownership did anything like that.

)? And when was the last time Kronos visited Tennessee?
Anyways, I don't think it's going to happen with the Vikes. And if it does, we'll make Roger Goodell's life so horrendous he'll think Baghdad would make a nice vacation spot.

I wouldn't get to worked up over this Joe Theismann take!
It's been floating around for years.
Not one of the smarter things Theismann said last night, but even Joe thought the officiating was bad and was transcribing a league apology letter to Coach Childress.
No, not even that bit of info off the Theismann tongue could sound intelligible except for this fatal bit of advice, "The NFL is a copy cat league and you gotta believe teams will use tonights film to improve on how to take advantage of that loose zone defense the Vikings refused to come out of!"
Something along those lines....
I do know this, the times that Nap and EJ blitzed with either Smith or Blue or even Sharper putting the heat on Brady, we got to him and we hit him!
That's what I missed seeing the most last night, because they sure couldn't cover a wet blanket last night!
Lo there, do I see the line of my People...Back to the Beginning.
Lo do They call to me...They bid me take my Place among Them...in the Halls of VALHALLA where t

The day you listen to Joe Theisman's comments and consider them ground breaking or original is the day that you need to start frequenting Dr. Phil's chat room.

Call the people who vote on the stadium issues.
It doesnt matter if your from MN or not, if it is important to you the vikings stay here, then get on line, on the phone and express your feelings.

Re: Theismanns comments
Yeah what Theismann said was not something we havent heard before. Theres been rumors of the Vikes moving for a very long time. Atleast Wilf is trying alot damn harder than McCombs ever did at getting a new stadium.
