Thanks P.P.O Gang for a great tailgating party.
I tried to open the tailgating pictures page but no dice. So I figured I would just start up this topic.
I wanted everyone to know how cool the P.P.O gang was to me and my guests. Webby, Mrs. Webby, Cajun, Singer, just to name a few, were awesome. Cajun's gumbo was great. Everyone was friendly and welcoming at the tailgate party. Everyone there took time to get to know me and really took pains to include me in the festivities. Thanks very much. I will definantly make the trip once a year from now on. I took a few pictures and will try to post 'em. Hey, I was watching fox 9 news later on Sunday night and I made it on T.V.! The reporter asked me something stupid like if my love or support for the 'Vikes was now gone. I kinda looked at him like he was an idiot and told 'em the only way the team would ever lose my support was if the moved. However, the only part of the interview that made it was when I said the 'Vikes need some o-line consistancy and needed to keep the qb off his back. Then I said they were gonna be fine. I was pretty upbeat I think. Anyway, I was upbeat cause of the cool people from P.P.O I meat earlier. You guys made the trip worth it ;D

Awesome!
That is great that you had a good experience with the PP.O folks.
I have heard such great stories from people who visit.
Webby, Mrs. webby, Singer, Zues, Skol, Shock and others are all great people.
Great job guys!

Re: Thanks P.P.O Gang for a great tailgating party.
I didn't stick around for long.
A member of our group couldn't stay the whole game, so we sold our tickets to some fellow Vikings fans and left early.
Then me and jmcdon00 bought a couple more tickets and raced back to the dome to watch the game.
I think we are at the tailgate for less than an hour.

I was half in the bag early on though, so it's a good thing I met most of the people at the home opener!
;D

Also, actually seeing a game in person put the whole thing in perspective. Talking to the tailgaters opened my eyes a bit. I get almost no interaction with other 'vike fans out west here and alot of what folks said took away alot of the frustration I have been feeling after a loss. This was my first game and I can tell ya, what I saw was a whole lot different then what the tv shows ya. Another good effect of tailgating with true fans. I highly recomend it. Might give you new insight :

Re: Thanks P.P.O Gang for a great tailgating party.
Nice to hear you had a great experience.
I'll never forget my first visit, but I think I'll try to make it to a game that is in the earlier part of the season.
I went to the last game of 2005 season, Bears VS Vikings, the same game Tice got canned after.
It was a very small tailgate party, and I froze my balls off......
Good thing the Vikings Cheerleaders draged me into the Miller Lite Party Bus and warmed me up.... ;D

Re: Thanks P.P.O Gang for a great tailgating party.
Nice post my friend.
Glad you had a great time.
I highly recommend that (if funds and time permit) everyone on here should make the pilgramige back to the mother land and see the Vikes (and the PPO crowd) in person.
Watch out for Z and his grainbelt though.
Doesn't mix well with the beast, bud, miller and the wine.
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
