Anyone hear what the gametime temperature is supposed to be? I heard right now it is 23 F or -5 C (which is easier for us canadians/rest of the world to understand). It is rather ridiculous because this isn't really that cold. Right now it is some thing like -20-25 degrees here in Calgary, and I've played football in colder temperatures. Honestly so long as there is little snow any competent football player shouldn't notice a difference, in fact it should be more refreshing...
I played my Sneior year in the Semi-finals in sleet and snow 20 degree weather with a 5 degree wind-chill....When you are playing you dont even notice it...but when you are on the sideline...woooo..its cold...
I looked at the Weather Channel website, 40 degrees is the daytime high.

you're about right. Come the two minute warning in the fourth, however, it's going to feel like it's 50 below if you're a Viking Lover, after such a COLD loss!!!

yeah but the vikes couldnt even beat the redskins and the bears in 40 degree weather...the vikes just dont plya well in under 50 degree weather

well if they play like they have the past 8 games then the pack will win this game cause even the vikes made the bears look good at home...but look at the hurtin the colts put on the bears for their game...
If I was to pick any team to play at home this playoff season in the NFC it would have to be the packers. They have a surprisingly bad record at Lambeau (4-4) and do not have that legendary "frozen tundra" mystique at home anymore. Favre is on his way out and the franchise is on its way down (packer homers don't kid yourselves...enjoy the media ass-kissing while you can). No matter how this season ends, the packer franchise is ever so quickly falling apart...love it.
Yeah but what about Favre's thumb?
