RobB structured a contract so that they could get the player they wanted but keep it from crippling them in the future if it didn't work out like they thought it would.

Most important part of the Triangle of Authority, IMHO, in putting the team together is having a cap guy who can get the players the team wants while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
