    Team game

AS a Viking fan since 1969, who was born and raised in New Eng., yesterday was a sweet Sunday!
Not only did we shed the monkey off our back's, the dolphins shut Patriot nation up.
As for the Vikes--great to see Gus Ferrotte play through shaky start to throw winning TD.
    "In Gus we trust."
Receivers need to hang onto the ball.
We may very well look back at A. Winfield's awesome tri-fector play as this seasons turning point--time will tell--sometimes that's all it takes.
Good jod defense, they made good use of ALL 60 minutes.
Tough one coming up but a game the Vikes could win with the same kind of effort!
Got to go--many Pats fans on my "must see list today.
Don't know why I bother--they all hid from me on day after Super Bowl 42!
P.S--next time in that situation late in the game--kick a field goal...please.

    Why kick a FG?

If they do, then the Panthers put Steve Smith back to return it, Longwell does a short kickoff and the Panthers have it at their 40 or so, minimum.

Or, they miss the FG and give the Panthers an extra 7 yards following the turnover of possession.

OR, the FG is BLOCKED and the Panthers do something nasty with it - like take it back.

I, for one, am perfectly happy and content with that coaching decision.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

    Point well taken.
After watching Vikes pass D over last many years, it makes me nervous whenever the other team gets the ball late in a game.
    (See last week.)
Looks like they may be making long overdue strides!
    Go Vikes!!!!!!!
