Tarvaris Jackson: "It should have been us"

    Should Have Been Us

Usually I’m excited to watch the Super Bowl, but this year I couldn’t have cared less. I felt like, we got so close, we were supposed to win it. That should have been us. We know we could have done the same thing the Saints did in the Super Bowl, but they beat us and they’re the champs.

I’ve just been chilling, hanging out with my son, my friends and family here in Alabama. I like to play basketball, video games, stuff like that. I like to cook for my family.

    At this point....

Ironically, he is throwing a jump pass in the pictures. I like TJ and I want him back. I don't know if he is ready to lead this team and I think 1 more year would be great for him. He is a great number 2 but I'm not sure if he is a starter.

You know, we hear a lot about how Favre has helped the recievers and everyone else along the course of the year, but we never hear if he did anything with T-Jack. I'm pretty sure having Favre there was a really good thing for T-Jack, and I think that if Favre came back for one more year and finished polishing T-Jack, Then the 2011 season would be remembered as an awesome T-Jack year.

I've always been a fan of T-Jacks despite his short-comings. I'd love to see him succeed at some point as our starting QB because I think he has the physical ability, but he needed to work out the mental kinks. If he has learned anything about reading defenses from Favre, I think he will be vastly improved. That being said, I do worry that he may be even more of a risk taker (insert jump pass here) after watching Favre. Hopefully that last INT can be a lesson that T-Jack learns from Favre's misfortunes.

Ive always liked TJoke, but have no faith in him as a QB, at least right now. On the other hand, theres NO way he can make more of a bonehead play then Favre did. Its impossible to do unless it happens in the SB.

I do wish him the best. He seems like a good guy.

I'm glad someone has the balls to say it.

Damn right it should have been us. We kicked the Saints' ass all game. Fucking gave it to them.

I've never been so bitter after a Super Bowl. I'm going to have a bad taste in my mouth until we win it next year.

That's because Tjack knows the only way he's even going to see a Super Bowl game is as a backup QB

I mean come on, any Viking fan contributed as much to the 2009 Vikings as TJ did !

He was a spectator plain and simple

TJ can take the last snap in the Superbowl when we are taking a victory knee.

only if we're 21+ points up and on the opponents 1 yd line, then I'd feel safe with him being allowed to do that :woohoo:
Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...
