On the good news front, the Redskins pass D is playing pretty awful for the most part.

I bet the Vikes crush the Redskins this week. It's a good matchup for you, no matter which QB is starting, imo
And if we do beat a mediocre 0.500 team, some here will start talking "Wild Card" & "Super Bowl" again. LOL!

Firing a coach won't suddenly propel us into playing like a playoff caliber team.

    Our 3 wins thus far;

    Cowboys 3-7
    Arizona 3-7
    Lions 2-8

    Anyone see a pattern?

We haven't won a road game since Nov. 1, 1999
We were 1-3 even with Randy Moss

    WOW!

How the hell did we go 12-4 last year?

Guess we played 12 home games.
    I think he meant 2009....lol.

I think he meant to say that we've lost 5 road games straight.
    Oh no.

You cannot read into things like that. You do, you die.

He was very clear in what he posted.

If people (like Singer) are going to be a continual debater (nothing wrong with that), may want to check your posts.

    Because you look awefully silly.

    Lol is right.

If people like Ultra want to fact-check, they might also want to spell-check.

Re: Tarkenton to Zygi: "Play Joe Webb"

I'm not going to go through this whole thread because I can guess what it says.

Favre is playing like shit, no doubt about it. Even so, he does give us the best chance to win.

That being said, I'd like to see the young guys in garbage time and Webb worked in as a wrinkle, there's no reason not to.

When you have these three choices:
    1) A struggling one of the best of all time.
    2) A guy who's shown that he can be a decent QB a handful of times, but that he might not be on many more occasions.
    3) An incredibly athletic, but totally unproven rookie.

You go with the struggling all-time great. Especially if the "offensive guru" head coach was just removed. I want to see the same pieces in place with and without Childress to see what difference there is. And those pieces include Favre.

    Ok.

    Spelling vs. Facts

    Good one.

    I agree.

Especially if the crowd is panting with anticipation to see what the All-Time Great will do this week.

(Some hoping to see him get killed, some hoping to see him throw for 500 yards.)

It's like pro wrestling, in a way.

But it sells tickets and gets people to tune in.
It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.

Two different animals. People make spelling errors all the time. Being off by 10 years on when the Vikings won their last home game is totally different.

It is VERY silly to correct a spelling error on a message board (with a million posts there is bound to be a spelling error or two, jeesh.)...

It is not silly to correct a 10 YEAR error in data. To even compare the two is silly.

I'm going to misspell this word in an awfully silly way:

    masturdebater.

    Correct.

Also, spelling Nazi-ism has always been frowned upon...highly.

But, f-ing up facts is another story.

Zeus just likes to be an ass to me. Always has been, always will.

I do not hold it against you Danny!!!
