Already have...well, in a football sense anyway. I like the kid from UCLA too.

This seems like it could be a pretty deep draft QB-wise. That LSU kids looks good too. If we continue to play poorly, I'm wondering if we'd potentially get a shot at Clowney and then get a QB in the early second or late first.

Can he read a defense and learn an NFL offense with the level of understanding it takes to perform at an NFL level with consistency and proficiency? Lots of QB's are athletic with a strong arm. Few have the intangibles that separate them from the rest.

And apparently, very few organizations can figure out if a QB has those intangibles.

It does look like this will be a fairly deep QB class. Can we figure out the right one to go after? I sure as hell can't.

That would be a good start.

That question applies to all, not just Boyd. Interestingly, the answer to that question was 'yes' for most Teams re: Russell Wilson. Only one that needed a QB took him, looking the other way re: size...instead, they saw a release angle at a higher point than many much taller QBs.

Agree with your point entirely though, clearly a critical element to success at the position. And, a TBD with Boyd virtually all in the Draft.
