I hope this is the right place to post this! I have posted here a few times but am not all that great at it. Anyway, I am a true Vikings fan and really enjoy the site. I was able to get two tickets to the "Vikes- packer game on September 30th, section 104, row 36.I am flying in from NorCal and my younger brother is coming in from Utah. We want to come and hang out before the game. What I want to know is if we bring beer, burger, steaks, whatever, would other "Vikes fans be willing to let us cook with 'em or have a few beers before the game? My brother and I are pretty laid back. I'm a pipe fitter and he works in the oil field? just wanted to know. It's my first game.Tuco the world.....

Sure we will, but we don't know ourselves where we'll be tailgating yet since Rapid Park is no more.
We'll let people here know, when we know.

You picked one of the best games to go to for your first one!
The tailgating lot, as Singer said, used to be at Rapid Park.
Unfortunately that is where the new Twins stadium is being built.
Vikings.com hasn't listed a new tailgating spot for 2007 yet.
The plaza is open before games, and they usually have live bands, beer and food stands, etc.
It isn't tailgating though, and you pay almost as much for a beer in the plaza as you will in the dome.
Stay turned to PP.O, I am sure we will try and get something together in time for the GB game.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

It would surpise me if anyone ate the tailgate turned you down if you bring your own food and beer with you. I learned at my first and only (so far) tailgate that people are very open and friendly. Try to hook up with the PP.O posse, they are really nice!
