Is T-Jack still the future QB for the Vikings?

With the offseason fast appraoching and a lot of question marks surrounding the team, is Jackson still our future QB?

Personally, I think that the organization thinks he is.
You do not draft a 2nd round QB, give him 1 start and then scrap the whole project.
I see other people think we should gamble and draft another QB.
The kid only had 1 start (miserable as it was) and should be given a shot.

    Lets hear your thoughts?

We NEED to sign a vetran!

I'm tired of being in a building phase, let's move on. Who's available?

Was I the only one who thought he looked good in his first start??

He made the throws, many dropped, had bad play calling from Childress and was pretty composed for his first game in a cold Green Bay atmosphere. I think this week will be a better gauge but still not the true test.

I should note that I am NOT saying to give up on TJ, just that we need an accomplished QB now.

We have other more important voids to fill. WR, TE, CB, and pass rushing DE.
Also, somebody to take over for Hicks. Give the kid a chance! Drop balls, bad play calling, and penalties are also a main concern.

I think we'll see how he does in his second start.

His last one was horrible (settle down; I'm not saying it was entirely his fault for it being horrible), and I'm not sure it even matters how he does in his second start because it still won't be much of an indication of how he will do. We could be looking at an entirely different team (particularly on the offensive side) next year, and who knows how Tarvaris will do with a little talent around him and perhaps a revised offensive scheme? I do think that a seasoned veteran would be a good pickup (unless we keep Brad, which seems unlikely).

All in all, it's too early to make any well-educated decisions on this.

I wouldn't say he looked good, but he didn't look as bad as his stats would suggest.
In my opinion he looked very composed for a quarterback at his skill level.
I think he is very likely our quarterback of the future, but at this point I would have to say he is not our quarterback of next year (but the Rams game COULD change this thought).
I think drafting a quarterback this offseason is absolutely weetarded.
I would not be against picking up a veteran FA though.

    CB?
What's wrong with AW and Griffin?
Both are very solid and Smoot fills in nicely as the Nickle Back.

Also, where is the boner everybody had for Wiggins?
Personally, I never cared much for him.
Sure he would get you a few yards but not much after that.
He always is going airborne on tacklers and gets hammered.
He needs to lower the boom and earn some yards.
He is a fumble waiting to happen.
The last think you want to do is leave your feet.

No postion is more important than QB.

Evidentally, he doesn't fit Childress' system. Boner is gone.
