Re: T-Jack Above Criticism
I like jackson always have, and in reality he should have been about 15/22 if the recievers didnt drop the balls and he should have had about 3 td's (the slant to rice that he dropped) (furgeson endzone non-catch) you could also throw in the tony richardson play (although t-jack overthrew him) that could have been a td

Re: T-Jack Above Criticism
No QB is above criticism, and T-Jack has his doubter's, but I see a guy that's starting to jell within this offense. The rythm and timing that a WCO needs are starting to come and we will be better every week. Tarvaris is a young and exciting guy, and I'm looking forward to watching him get better with the rest of this young offense. Soon we will be making those play's we've missed.

And some receivers who can catch. Nobody should talk about him only completing 9 passes against the Bears, unless in their next breath they mention how many dropped balls our receivers had.Like I said before, T-Jack has the goods to be a very good QB for us. All we gotta do is give him time to grow with the Offense. Trust me, he will not disappoint us. 8)
Rice made a great sideline grab though. Excited to watch this kid in years to come.Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

IF he limits mistakes...like he did on Sunday...he will do just fine!
BUT too many more 5 turnover games like the Lions game and we will be in for a very long season!
Just manage the game for now, TJack...you can become a playmaker next season!BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

We've been agreeing on more and more shit lately.
That was right on.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Good quote from the article:
Against Detroit, Jackson faltered. But the sample size of games to judge him by is too small. If he falters more frequently, then criticism is warranted. Until then, criticism is somewhat premature.Zeus wrote:

Re: T-Jack Above Criticism
I was very happy with T-Jack's performance and think it is a sign of good things to come. He had 4 flat drops and a couple other 'catchable' balls that were not brought in. Give him half of those and he is 12-22 with over 200 yards and probably another TD. I think the way he kept the ball in our hands and was able to make the one big deep throw early were huge to our success in a place where we have had little to cheer about since the turn of the century. I am looking forward to watching this kid grow the rest of the year and hopefully put a rest to the talks that we need a QB next season.

Re: T-Jack Above Criticism
High (Atlanta/Chicago) and lows (Lions).
TJ, as will all of our young playmakers, will have highs and lows.
Rice's drop was followed by a great catch.
TJ's pass to T-will was followed by a bad pass to T-rich or a bit of an over throw to T-will.
We as fans just need to realize this and take this year for what it is.
On the Job Training.
Nothing more, nothing less.
I can't wait to watch this year unfold, and then see what kindof of excitement this group as well as our draft class from next year and the year after and the year after bring.
;D
The end result will be a very young and exciting team that should keep us all happy for quiet a few years. That my friends is how you build a team.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
