Re: Survey from the Minnesota Vikings

Yeah,I got one and filled it out.Pretty much voiced the same concerns about parking, tailgating, and the stadium. However,I like the downtown stadium idea.I also want a roof, preferably retractable, and more parking/tailgating lots.I don't get to see as many games as I used to,but I won't give up my season tix.If anyone needs tickets... ;D

It seems that retractable is the way to go...you get the best of both worlds...for a price!

BUT I think that in the long run, it will be worth it...since when the roof is closed, it can serve as host to many more events than it could if it were just an open air stadium that hosts 10 games a year...especially if it is located downtown...which would be a monumental waste of prime real estate!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Noooo! The new stadium damm well better be outdoor or at least a retractable roof. I get all gittery seeing old video of the purple people eaters tearing up offenses in the snow. Look at Lambeau Field, it doesn't matter how cold, there are still tons of people there.
Yeah. but were you ever actually at the Met?
    It was far from glamorous.
I was just a kid then, and it was very hard on me.
And I didn't even go to any of the late november/December games.

If the new stadium is open air, there is no way I could bring my kids to the games during the winter.

When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?
