Re: Stupid
i think it was a buddy thing..
m.mc wasn't goin anywhere and B.chill helped him out.
but to loose a possible stud in baskett isn't wh at i' m looking for in a coaching staff.
but only time will tell how badly we did here. maybe it won't be so bad.. we could have the most experienced ball boy in mcsuck..

My guess is he brought these two players in because they new the type of offense Childress was going to run & they'd fit right into the sysyem with very little adjustment. Is this just Childress doing his mentor a favor? I mean, who would seriously make such a ridiculous trade? I dunno. McMahon. McMullen. Maybe Childress just thought he saw some sort of spark in each of them. Or maybe he's randy for Irish lads. Either way he really needs to get over these bums and move on.
I think it was done more for insurance reasons, than think either one of these guys would be great players.
McMahon has only got a QB rating of 23.7% & has completed only 25% of his passes. He is not even a mediocre QB.
McMullen has only caught one pass during preseason, so it will take more playing time to see how much he can contribute.
