Strength and conditioning
There's an article that just ran on the Vikings' strength and conditioning program.
http://www.startribune.com/stories/510/4763424.html
What do you guys think? Are the Vikings gonna end up being ironmen, or we gonna end up with a repeat of the Les Steckel year?Faster than a speeding Grady Jackson! More powerful than a Nick Barnett! Able to leap Ahmad Carroll in a single bound! Look! Up in the sky! It s a bird! It s a plane! It s Jermaine Wiggins!

This means that Favre is most likely going to end up getting McNabbed Panther style in the first game we play.

That's very interesting!! Hopefully it will really benefit our D in the fourth quarter and they won't be worn down as much and they will be able to hold some leads!!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

Yeah, that will definitely help!! If we can keep Hovan and co. all healthy and Claiborne our D is going to be tough! But I guess that is what gets said every year before the season starts, "if our team stays healthy....." Every team/fan hopes for that!!

i think that the program is a great idea so if we play those long hard fought games and it comes down to the wire we know that we will be in shape and that we are able to win the fight in the trenches

Anything that helps our players stay free of injury sounds good to me. However, did anyone else connect the fact that the first year Ray Lewis is off the program, he was injured for half the year? I hope that was just coincedence, or that Shultz stays around for a long while.

Hopefully this makes us more physical. And the way it sounds even though it's demanding, nothing is done without purpose.
