Steve Hutchinson for M.V.P.
NFL MVP? Time To Pick O-Lineman
by Dan Brickl
Since 1957, the Associated Press has chosen either a running back or quarterback as the NFL MVP every year with the exception of two defensive players (Alan Page and Lawrence Taylor) and, ironically, one kicker (Mark Moseley).

What do you say guys? Is it finally time for an offensive lineman to win the M.V.P. award?

Re: Steve Hutchinson for M.V.P.
I just don't see it with all the hype around the top 3 QBs
Would be kinda cool to see though
I think for a lineman to get it he would have to get zero penelties all season and give up zero sacks

Hutchinson (by his own admission) has not even had his best year this season.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Re: Steve Hutchinson for M.V.P.
Is there a BETTER offensive lineman than Hutchinson?
In my book, Hutch has been the best lineman for half a decade.

IDK but if a lineman would somehow get it it would be a tackle not a guard. Is there a BETTER offensive lineman than Hutchinson?
In my book, Hutch has been the best lineman for half a decade."There are 3 things that sell in America:
Violence, sex, and drugs.
The only way you are going to make this game more appealing to the public than it was before is if there are on field orgies at halftime and the domes become massive opium dens."

I can only go by what I actually see, and I see that he struggled (by his standards) earlier this year with his back injury affecting his play.

Re: Steve Hutchinson for M.V.P.
Hutch isn't even the MVP of his own team.
What would the Vikes record be without Hutch?
Without Favre?
Without Peterson?
Harvin?
Rice?
