Re: STEELERS LOSS WAS A FLUKE! I still remain optomistic
Put down the crack pipe dude. Their defense was something we had yet to face and we were not prepared, wake up face reality. We need to rebuild.

A fluke? No, we got beat by a superior AFC team.

It sounded as if it were a combination of things, bad breaks and too many mistakes.. also including the steelers being the stronger team.

I think the fluke of it is how we lost. There's no shame in losing to a team as good as the Steelers, and right now they are probably the better team. The fluke of it all is that we lost with 4 trips to the redzone! Coming away with those few points is not characteristic of the Vikes team we've seen the last few weeks.A fluke? No, we got beat by a superior AFC team.

That really sums it up perfectly. We should have had 20 points at the minimum ... and then who knows, the whole game would have been different."IbleedPURPLEandGOLD" wrote:

Don't jump ships amigos.. We just hit some rough water, and the week may have jumped ship...
Imagine going from 2-5 to 8-6. possibly going 9-7 or 10-6.. winning the last 8 or 9 games would be amazing..
remember, the first of three super bowld wins of new england was from a 5-5 team that wasnt all that spectacular.
Things arent so bad.. just the score makes it look worse, and we had a quick lapse in memory about what a loss feels like, so it hit us hard...
but go vikes.. why not go to the SB!i m better than you, so just give up...
