Re: Steelers Fan in the House
Well, I hope it doesnt come down to a last second FG over 40 yrds for the steelers, it might get dicey:
Jeff Reed - 2005
20-29 yrds: 6/6
30-39 yrds: 8/8
40-49 yrds: 5/8
50+ yrds: 0/2
Or a big punt return:
Antwann Randle-El - 2005
Returns: 33
Fair Catches: 9
Yards: 235
Average: 7.1 yards

He is just coming here to talk a little smack, we encourage it BTW. If it annoys you, don't read it or go somehwere else. I am sick and tired of the attitude towards opposing teams fans when they just want to talk with us. What do you want him to do? Wish us luck?Im sorry, I may be really bitchy about this, but....
This is really ***, all of these people who have 2 posts are talking more crap about this game than I think all of the other games combined.
It is really fricken annoying me...
Screw the Steelers!!

Re: Steelers Fan in the House
Let's see herePlus Orton had close to 200 yards passing
First 3 quarters with a chance to keep it close he puts up some amazing numbers, here they are 15 of 25 for 92 yards, a whopping 3.7 ypa.
Now, entering the Forth Quarter/Garbage Time with virtually no chance to win, and no resistance from the Defense he goes 8 of 10 for 115 yards and a TD.

Thank you, purplepeapleeaters and ultravikingfan, this is just in good fun. I hope it's a great injury free game, but I do intend to talk a little smack.

Re: Steelers Fan in the House
I really wonder if this is how all the Steelers fans are. No offense but these guys have been incredibly disrespectful and almost childish. So instead of making unfounded claims about "how much the steelers will get killed" and whatever other crap you guys want to say. I'm just going to wish you guys the best of luck on sunday

Re: Steelers Fan in the House
Vikings d will physically manhandle ur offense. Our offense will outrun ur defense. our special teams puts the special in special teams.
Steelers are not even an elite team. ur defense missed 10000's of tackles against the bears, gave up over 400 yards of offense to the bengals. If the colts small defenders can take down the bus and parker i think we can.

Re: Steelers Fan in the House
I think the rushing defense's kind of cancel each other out, just IMHO. Then it comes down to the passing defense of each team, here is the comparison:
12.11.05' Kyle Orton 17/35 for 207 yrds 0 TD and 0 int
12.4.05' Carson Palmer 22/38 for 227 yrds 3 TD and 0 int
11.28.05' Peyton Manning 15/25 for 245 yrds 2 TD and 1 int
11.20.05' Kyle Boller 21/36 for 136 yrds 1 TD and 1 int
11.13.05' Trent Dilfer 17/34 for 253 yrds 1 TD and 1 int
11.6.05' Brett Farve' 20/35 for 214 yrds 0 TD and 1 int
Total TD's given up: 7
Total Int's: 4
Vikings secondary over same period:
12.11.05' Ryan Fitzpatrick 26/45 for 235 yrds 0 TD and 5 int
12.4.05' Jeff Garcia 17/35 for 126 yrds 0 TD and 1 int
11.27.05' Trent Dilfer 23/5 for 214 yrds 1 TD and 2 int
Charlie Frye 0/1 for 0 yrds 0 TD and 1 int
11.21.05' Brett Farve' 20/33 for 227 yrds 2 TD and 2 int
11.13.05' Eli Manning 23/48 for 291 yrds 1 TD and 4 int
11.6.05' Joey Harrington 28/48 for 263 yrds 1 TD and 2 int
Total TD's given up: 5
Total Int's: 17
I don't know, but looks like to me that Ben better be carefull with the ball on Sunday or it might get ugly.......
Then you add in our Special teams ... these 2 factors s/b and will be the difference in the game for a Vikes victory.

Re: Steelers Fan in the House
Let them come and talk...Come Sunday let them leave being smacked!! I thought the SB would probably be the Steelers and the Vikes this year, because in thier preseason they looked amazing...However since then they have been a sub par team...So in conclusion the Vikes will play the Colts in the SB this year... "Lets get it" -Fred Smoot and every other viking!
