I see goodbye Culpepper, and Brad Johnson leading us to another 25th ranked offense for 2006. Seems like Childress wants a no personality team like pre-Owens Eagles. Bo-ring.
Its hard being a Vikings fan.
If BORING gives us a Super Bowl trophy...then BORE me to death!!!

Dead on! The MAIN reason NOT to trade Culpepper!!!

On the other hand, if he contract demands are not reasonable, then we SHOULD trade him...but for no other reason than the fact that we can't really afford to invest that much in ONE player...even if he is the QB! Look at the Colts...investing so much in Peyton will eventually come back to bite them!

I agree, but I am also a fan of Brees. I wouldn't mind having him with the understanding that he would be a backup this year... Let BJ start, and let DB rehab 100%. Play him if we have to... but baring a Johnson injury, it would not be his team till '07.

Even better... The same situation with Pepp. Unfortunatly doesn't look like that will happen.

Well written post Shey, and welcome to PPO...

    But i have to say...

I dont like Daunte I dont care about the numbers I care more about the turnovers.
    But...
I would not give this great quaterback up for nothing and the Vikings seem to be doing that...Yes, a broken leg...
    And wondering

Does Denny want to increase fuel in the fire with the Vikes and get him and of course trade the Cards number 1 pick

I could deal with it that if we got Cutler. How funny would it be though, we got Culpepper by trading Brad Johnson for the Redskins #11 and now we might trade him because of Brad for the number #10 and get Cutler. Seven years later we'll trade him after Culpepper comes back and get the #9 and use it on our Qb of the future.
