like if petersen is out there are you gonna be pissed?
it's not like having spencer johnson starting over kevin williams.
i can honestly say i don't sway to either side, i'm more excited about how both will be used over the course of a whole game.
as for the start label i bet we see it vary
depending on what kinda packages the vikes come out with from game to game, including richardson and te's and so on.
but that tandem has gotta pump you up something fierce.
seriously!!! that is an amazingly good point...

and i think he will be more like a reggie bush (let me finish).. in the sense that even though he is a big name, he's still a rookie.. and a starting position in any role is hard at the NFL level.. especially when there is a veteran at the spot too..

    so yea.. good point bigbad
i m better than you, so just give up...

Agreed, as long as they both stay healthy and do their best every game I dont really care.

I do.  I think it would be F'ed to let a rookie start the first game of the season over CT after the good season last year.  Even if it's only ceremonial and AD ends up with 23 carries for 179 yards CT should get the first carry IMO.

But you're right, I would get over it if the Vikes win.

of course, and if it was ceremonial i don't think chester is gonna feel all that good about it if petersen ends up with 20 more carries.
    it's not pee wee football.
in the end if the vikings are smart they are gonna try to utilize the both of them as much as possible cuz they are probably our two best weapons.

    Excellent set of posts, Ragz.
    I agree wholeheartedly.
I think the tandem back set up is exactly what we need, especially with a young QB and a WR group that has to settle in.

thanx caine, just cuz i make gay slurs doesn't mean i'm completely retarded, just partially.

you don't have to look back far to see what a good run blocking and running team can do for a qb.
if kyle orton and grossman can have success with the bears, then we can find a way to take heat off tavaris.
but i still think it comes down to the right side of the line being solidfied.
if they play at all better you get the feeling it will help every facet of the offense, cuz of play action and obviously more time for tavaris to use that athletic ability to extend plays he might intially miss.

That was some good reading in the other post by both.
Love a little pary and thrust.

    Back on track, Taylor.
Only because (I'm gonna say it V) he is a proven player.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

    good point.
you gotta admit it's kinda nice to have the depth we have.
i wouldnt exactly be scared outta my mind if memo had to play a significant role for a long period of time do to injury.
but lets not hope for it.
