So why did the Vikes trade for a 5th receiver when they had the next Jerry Rice on the team all ready?

Why did the Vikes pick up Bethel Johnson to stretch the field when we had the fastest human that has ever lived on the practice squad?

Why did all 32 teams pass on him for 7 rounds of the draft when he was by far the best receiver in the draft?

Why did 31 teams not claim him when the Vikings put him on waivers a month ago?

(if we had put T-Jack on waivers would an NFL team claimed him?

Answer:

Because he is not the best receiver on the Viking's!
He is not the best receiver in the NFL!
He is a project that might turn into a reliable receiver a few years down the road, and maybe he can become our 4th or 5th receiver next year or the year after!
Maybe!

Maybe with the Robinson release we can FINALLY get to see Jason Carter.
