Starting to look like they waited too long to get everything done. Foot dragging could kill this. What a mess

Well great the tax committee adjourned till tomorrow without a vote on the bill. They will never get this done in time. I predict that the legislature will adjourn without voting on the bill that way they can claim they didn't vote against it or for it depending on their constituency.

Hold the phones.. They re-convened thanks to Sen. Ortman proclaiming that "WE WILL VOTE TONIGHT!". They did and barely passed, 7-6, it to the Senate floor.

Sen. Rosen said she has the votes to pass it on the Senate floor.. We'll see, though..

Senate has just adjourned for the day but the House as of this posting is still in session. No vote is expected today but after talking with employees and various people that the stadium deal will get done its just politicians playing games. More as it develops.

There are no votes scheduled today (Mon) in the Minnesota House or Senate on the Vikings stadium bill as legislators work to wrap up the session. It appears Republicans are trying to get Governor Dayton to make concessions on business tax cuts by trying to keep him guessing whether he'll get a Vikings stadium before lawmakers leave St.Paul. There are also hints that the vote count on the bill is shaky which might be a smoke screen. There are three possible outcomes: no vote on the bill or it passes or doesn't pass. Each has likely political repercussions not only for the fall election, but with the N-F-L as well.
