Legal challenge could delay stadium opening

A last-minute legal challenge to Monday’s planned sale of bonds for the new Minnesota Vikings stadium could keep the field from opening in 2016.

At a hastily called news conference on Sunday, state officials said the sale of $468 million of stadium bonds had been unexpectedly halted.

The article doesn't say who filed the law suit.

Here is another article on it.

New lawsuit could delay opening of Vikings stadium | ProFootballTalk

    Ahhhh here it is

Former Minneapolis mayoral candidate Doug Mann filed the challenge with the Minnesota Supreme Court on Friday. He and two other citizens asked the high court for a restraining order to block the bond sale, saying the financing arrangements were designed to circumvent a city charter provision that would have triggered a referendum.

I'm pretty sure Wilf's will float the money until this is figured out. He would lose too much money by playing an 3rd season at TCF. Eventually the state will get the funding they promised.
