Sports Illustrated's take on the Vikings/.Packers

The article can basically be summed up by a few points:

    Vikings:

-The Vikings learned from the Arizona loss that it's never over till it's over.

-Antoine Winfield is going to be a standout for this team

-The secondary may not of necessity be our strength, but it won't be our weakness, either

-Jermaine Wiggins is in for a big year

-Brian Williams could be in for a big year as well

-The front four should be solid, ranking in the top five in the NFC

-Our offensive line remains one of our biggest strength

    Packers:

-Favre is showing signs of decline, but still remains one of the best Quarterbacks in the league

    -Ahman Green is a beast

    -Javon Walker is inconsistent

-The secondary is a huge concern, and may very well knock the Packers out of playoff contention

SI has the Packers losing in the first round, and the Vikings losing to the Seahawks in the second round.

SI has ESPN taking it's marketshare and only horny 13 yearolds stealing the swimsuit issue.

Which means the issue is completely useless to Nodak, or Nodick..

    whatever

    EASTSIDE!!!!!!!!!

that sounds pretty good. i don't think there is any question the vikings have a better defense than the packers this year...finally. darren sharper is the only really good player left in that secondary.

Last year at this time SI had the Raiders picked as a definite playoff team. Who cares what SI says, anything can happen during the season, how many writers picked the Panthers last year.
