... meanwhile, "America's QB", out of sheer egotism, sank his team in the playoffs vs. The Giants by throwing some high-risk passes he didn't need to.

My very first Viking memory was that SI cover of Anthony Carter.
It brings back great memories. Carter was very first Viking jersey. Great player he was. I wonder what he is doing now......?
