Sporting News predicts lions North Champs

Maybe they meant if the Lions played in Division II college football they would win the Division.

Sometimes the SN is not very clear.

Why does everyone think that the Lions have 3 great wideouts. So far all they have is a receiver with a glass collarbone when the should have picked andre Johnson, a second year receiver who shined at times but was fairly inconsistent and often injured in his first season, and finally a WR that at least two teams felt was not the best receiver in the draft this year.

Not to mention a bust QB, a weak oline, and a suspicious defense.

Look for Williamson to play at least as well as Williams this year.

They will probably still have the third best offense in the North, even with their hyped up WRs.

They are just being bold. They wanna be able to say they were the only ones to predict if for some reason hell freezes over and the Lions take the North.

I would say the Bears and the Pach even have a better chance to win the North than the Lions. Vikes will win it though. Who did they say we would beat in the WC round?

its kind of lame beacause in another article in the magazine they say that we are the best team in the NFC to dethrone the eagles but they have the lions winning our division and us losing to the eagles in the division playoffs
