Thread: Sporting News asks - Vikings' Burning question: Should we buy the hype?

After placing Jarred Allen on the cover of this week's issue, I'm just glad they don't have a "curse" like SI.
Anyways, they note that the Vikings "are favorites to win the NFC North and challenge for the Super Bowl" but then go on to say that it "will hinge on their success at better defending the pass and getting more efficient production from their passing game."

In the end they state the obvious, that "if Jackson plays well, the '08 season could be Super."

I guess the most interesting thing I found is that the Vikings are getting some real attention from national media.
