WR Travis Taylor didn't receive the notoriety of some other free agent signings, but he might prove to be one of the team's shrewdest. During a recent minicamp, Taylor showed unexpected polish and technique and has a strong chance to be the team's No. 3 receiver. Taylor caught nearly everything thrown his way, mostly in the mid-range variety, and earned instant praise from QB Daunte Culpepper, who appreciated how he always found Taylor in the spot on the field that he was supposed to be in.

Thought that was interesting. Wasn't really that impressed with the free agent signing, but like the article implied, this could be something of a pleasant surprise.

Good stuff! I think Taylor will fit in well as a number three guy. I think he will end up winning the #3 spot behind Williamson and Burleson. I see him as a more polished, more versatile reciever than Robinson or Campbell. I hope he works out well as another option for our great QB.

Thats some awesome news, I mean come on the guy has yet to play for a good qb.His stats dont lie he hasnt lived up to the hype, but hes got a clean slate and I really think this kid can really be a big part of this offense. anyone kno his 40 times or his speed???

I think Taylor is going to be the biggest surprise of the offseason; he will have a great, solid year!

I agree. I think he may be a #2 by mid season.. unless Troy proves good.

i said it before and ill say it again.. he will be number 2.. williamson will stay number 3 like moss did his rookie year.. and the year after will work his way to number 2.. m-rob will be number 4

I expected Taylor to be a solid reciever for us. He just never had a decent qb throwing the ball to him. I think he'll have a atleast a few key plays for us in this coming season.

Im really excited for Taylor. He could've been great in Baltimore, if he had a good quarterback. I think he is going to be a huge suprise this year.

Just like how Brandon Stokely shined with Indianapolis.. I strongly believe that Travis Taylor will come out successful for us as well. Both recievers were in Baltimore and now we see what Stokely can do with Manning throwing him the ball.. I just cant wait to see Travis Taylor's real talent since he will have Daunte throwing him the ball now.
