Of course Spielman backs Frazier, but who backs him? Spielman has been tossing draft picks away like one dollar bills at a strip club since he's been here: a first and two thirds for Allen (when no one thought any team would give anymore than a first or high second round pick for him and his alcohol history); a fourth-round pick to move up and draft Tyrell Johnson; a third-round pick to move up and draft Toby Gerhart; a fourth-round pick to needlessly move up and draft Harrison Smith in the first when he would have been there for them in the second; and then last year's master stroke of trading half your draft picks away to draft a WR that the coaches can't even get on the field. Just think about that: Shouldn't there already be a plan in place on how best to utilize a player on the field BEFORE you give up four draft picks for him?!? Moreover, everyone and their mother knew Ponder was at best a third-round caliber talent but Spielman apparently. He was a joke in Detroit, Chicago and Miami before he came here. Spielman's still a joke, and he's the problem."

Well that is a depressing article. Sounds like he is treating this entire season as preseason. We are looking at this guy and that guy...yada yada yada.

Well, I guess Spielman has to go too.
Really, he backs Frazier, the coaching staff, and Ponder. If this isn't just paint on a pig, and Spielman believes what he is saying, he needs to be removed in favor of a better GM at the end of the season.

Should the Vikings start talks with Scott Pioli as director of player personnel or GM?

Spielman: "Frazier is not going anywhere"
Leslie Frazier isn't going anywhere, Vikings GM says - NFL.com
This farce is running full speed ahead. From the article:
"We back coach Frazier 100 percent and we'll do everything we can to help him get this thing turned around," Spielman said.
Spielman said he leaves the starting quarterback decision up to Frazier. Spielman also said he can evaluate Freeman, who he paid $2 million for the balance of the season, without the quarterback being on the field.

Yeah Spielman sucks. Ziggy needs to fire him on down. Frazier, Williams, and Musgave. We need a new regin in here."AKA" PURPLEPOWERPUNCH

Therein lies the problem...........no one wants to admit that there really is one.
Either they are letting their egos prevent them from admitting that there is a serious problem or they really are as idiotic and incompetent as they seem. Both conditions are a liability and hopefully someone will decide to do something about it.
Personally, I don't think there is intelligent life on other planets. Why should other planets be any different from this one?

I said it once before and I will say it again, I hope there is a total house cleaning job at the end of the season. I would like to think that once the new stadium breaks ground then the Wilf family would look into hiring a GM and a staff that might know a few things about football.

Look, they WON'T fire frazier during the season. They HAVE to say all this crap about backing him until then. once the season ends, so does frazier's tenure as HC.
